Ethereal World Club Night and Gigs

Led by Rowland Sutherland (flutes) and Jackie Walduck (vibes), Ethereal World is both a music club night and an ensemble that features a number of brilliant soloists known for their commanding performances in cross-cultural jazz, free improvisation, experimental and contemporary classical music.  The first season features a core ensemble of musicians  active on the European Free Improvisation scene: Ntshuks Bonga and Cath Roberts on saxes, Tom Jackson on clarinets, Tori Handsley on harp, Benedict Taylor on viola and Dominic Lash on bass.

 

Ethereal World Ensemble interacts with a number of notable and renowned guest soloists from diverse backgrounds creating a deep soundworld and forming a rich yet coherent musical language.
